IT Support Specialist

Summary

Maintains the integrity of all computer workstations within the company including their associated software and hardware  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (additional duties may be assigned):

 

  • Demonstrate required skills; adapt to new technologies; troubleshoot technological problems; use technology to increase productivity; keep technical skills up to date.

  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, printers and scanners.

  • Perform set up, maintenance and repair of end-user devices including desktop computers, laptops, printers, tablets, Android/iOS phones, and more.

  • Provide technical support across the company.

  • Repair and replace equipment as necessary.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

  • Tracking inventory of hardware equipment.

  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.

  • Assist with software quality assurance testing.

     

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma/GED required.

Minimum 1-year experience in information technology or technical support.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Highly self-motivated and easily directed.
