The goal of this lakefront project was to give an aesthetical makeover without tearing up the existing landscape completely. The existing patio was outdated and had two raised planting beds the homeowner wanted revamped. The patio foundation was stable in it's current condition, so we laid pavers on top of the existing concrete rather than ripping up the foundation. The patio material used was a Silvercreek tile in a Fon du Lac color. Before laying the pavers, the patio was cleaned and prepped so the surface was smooth and durable for the new tiles. A seat wall was also installed along the edge of the patio to define the space by using two columns with outdoor lights.
