This elementary school wanted a makeover of their front entrance and surrounding landscape. The goal was to make simple and cost effective changes that would give an immediate impact to the school's appearance. The main walkway leading up the school was enhanced by adding a three foot collar on each side of 1.5" river rock and concrete edging. All of the other entrances around the school were refreshed with rock borders and over 60 different plants. In addition to the rock and plants, two large Maple trees were planted in front of the school. Sod was installed; and, in order to cut costs for the school, we installed a temporary irrigation system to quickly establish the grass rather than installing a permanent underground system.
