Monticello High School Athletic Complex
The Monticello High School Athletic Complex consisted of two work scopes: Earthwork/Utilities and Buildings. The project began in October 2016 and was completed before the next school year in 2017. We worked with Ebert Construction to dig footings for the team building and concession stand that was installed and furnished. Along with the addition of the buildings, we installed a water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer. Beyond the earthwork and utilities installed onsite, our crews performed landscaping, athletic site construction, fencing, and site amenities installations. A synthetic turf field fully equipped with an electronic scoreboard, stadium lights, and bleachers was built. Also, a natural grass, sand-peat field and running track complete with track and field events was installed just south of the main stadium. The following items are just a few highlights of the project:
- Synthetic turf field stadium, complete with bleachers and press box
- Sand-peat field, complete with bleachers and press box
- Track and field complex, complete with running track, field events, and batting cages
- Veteran Memorial entrance plaza including custom signs representing all branches of the military
- Nine underground rainwater storage chambers
