Sand Creek Park

The complete demolition and redevelopment of Sand Creek Park in Coon Rapids spanned over two years. This 55-acre park distinguishes itself within the local community as a premier athletic complex for a wide array of recreational activities. Every division within our company was utilized throughout the construction of the six baseball fields, two multi-purpose fields, and multiple walking paths. This park project also included the construction of five parking lots, a skate park, a hockey rink, a large playground, and a concession stand.

• Demolition and removal of existing structures
• 10,000 LF of fence removal
• Import, excavation, and grading of 120,000 CY of dirt
• Installation of utilities and drainage pipe
• Irrigation for baseball fields, all-purpose fields, and landscaping
• Installation of fencing, gates, and backstops around baseball fields and dugouts
• Site furnishings including benches, picnic tables, trash receptacles, bike racks, and athletic equipment
• 5,200 lbs. of seed and hydroseed
