Stillwater High School Athletic Complex

The Stillwater High School Athletic Complex project included all demolition, earthwork, and site utilities for the entire site. We were also responsible for the irrigation installation and site restoration for the entire campus, as well as installation of the athletic equipment. The signature item of this project was the installation of a 225,000 square foot synthetic turf field. This massive practice field is over five acres and is THE LARGEST SINGLE TURF FIELD IN THE STATE! In addition to the athletic complex, a new gym and two additions were constructed as well as numerous parking lots, trails and amenities to convert this site to a truly impressive high school campus.

Project Included:

  • Converting the existing natural grass stadium field to synthetic turf
  • New 225,000 square foot synthetic turf practice field
  • 12 new tennis courts
  • Over 50,000 tons of sand imported for soil corrections beneath the turf field and tennis courts
  • Over 15,000 tons of drainage stone imported and placed with laser-guided equipment for synthetic turf subbase
  • Over five miles of drainage piping beneath the various turf fields
  • 47,000 cubic yards of material exported to adjust elevations for site improvements
  • 25,000 tons of gravel base imported for parking lot improvements
  • Over 20,000 man hours to complete the project
