Peterson Companies was selected to install 545,000 square feet of practice fields and over 6,000 lineal feet of decorative fencing at the Minnesota Vikings’ state-of-the-art practice facility. The fields include four natural grass fields, an indoor synthetic turf field, and an outdoor synthetic turf stadium. Underground heating coils were installed on two of the natural grass fields to allow for year-round use. The fencing includes fully-equipped automatic gates at the entrances. Peterson Companies completed all stages of the field construction, from the subgrade to the final touches, completely in-house.

• Grass fields have 22,600 tons of aggregates beneath fields carefully placed with precise installation methods to ensure no damage to heating coils
• Imported and installed sod from Colorado
• 93,000 SF indoor, synthetic turf practice facility
• 110,000 SF synthetic turf at TCO Outdoor Stadium including 10,000 LF of drainage piping
