The Trout Brook Sanctuary & Regional Trail project is one of the largest and most unique projects we have ever been involved with. Turning the 30 acre wooded lot into a park presented us with many unique challenges, but the end result was spectacular.

Work completed included:

  • Removal of infrastructure dating back to the early 1900's
  • Installation of custom pile caps set on CIPP piling to reinforce sanitary sewer lines over unstable soils
  • Installation of 432,000 pounds of Aquablok in various constructed ponds
  • Construction of a half-mile urban stream, complete with clay liner, root wads, custom stone/aggregate combinations for the stream bed
