Alexandria K-12 School
The Alexandria community passed a bond referendum allowing the school district to construct a new K-12 180,000 square foot school on a 92 acre site. We were awarded several contracts on various phases of the project.
Work completed included:
- Earthwork – 492,000 cubic yards moved over 92 acres
- 100,000 tons of sand imported for soil corrections
- Base construction for synthetic turf stadium, track and field events, six baseball/softball fields, 6 natural grass multi-use fields, and 19 acres of drives and parking lots
- Installation of 5,60 feet of water main, 3,200 feet of sanitary sewer, five miles of combined HDPE and concrete storm sewer piping, and 84 storm & sanitary structures
